A day after the passage of the extratropical cyclone that hit the state of São Paulo, around 2 million properties were still without electricity in the early hours of this Thursday (11). According to Enel, the capital São Paulo remains one of the worst affected areas, with 1.3 million customers, or 23% of the total, without supply.
In the interior and the metropolitan region, several municipalities also record high interruption rates. In Embu-Guaçu, 100% of the 22,874 properties are without electricity. Other municipalities also present problematic scenarios, including:

In Osasco, more than 58 thousand customers (17.27%) are without electricity and, in the ABC Paulista region, this number represents 240 thousand properties, 19.2% of the units served, followed by Juquitiba with 11,037 (61.68%), Vargem Grande Paulista with almost 7 thousand (27.10%) and Pirapora do Bom Jesus with 4,050 (48.16%).
In addition to the widespread power outage, winds that reached 98 km/h caused by the cyclone caused a series of emergency events. According to fire service updates, through the early hours of Thursday, 1,642 calls were recorded for falling trees, 26 for collapses or landslides and five for floods or flooding.
