MakroSystem, a company that has been in the market for 20 years and operates as a 100% cloud accounting system, created by accountant for accountant, announces the launch of Gestora Inteligente (GI), its new accounting assistant based on artificial intelligence.
The solution, which can interact conversationally with professionals in the field, offers support for questions about the system, tax rules, tax agenda, collective agreements, as well as data interpretation and reporting.
Developed to act at critical moments of the accounting routine, such as tax closing and compliance with ancillary obligations, the tool reinforces the company’s commitment to aligning technology and accounting in an accelerated transformation scenario.
According to Ademar Silva, CEO of MakroSystem, the launch of the new assistant comes at a strategic moment in the sector: the entry of artificial intelligence into daily office life. “We are facing another market disruption. AI is not just an additional resource, but a structural change in the way the accountant relates to the system. GI appears to put professionals in a leadership position, allowing them to build their own intelligence within the tools they use,” he assesses.
According to Silva, tasks that previously required manual review are now automatically validated by GI immediately after importing invoices or tax transactions. “After importing the document, GI checks each product, each record, each operation and reports possible defects before closing. This significantly reduces the risk of errors and provides greater security for the accountant to proceed with the closing,” he explains.
In terms of personnel, the solution is also relevant. In the case of payrolls of several hundred employees, the tool carries out a complete audit in a single click, identifies points of attention and delivers reports with the necessary adjustments. “The accountant does not need to review item by item. GI goes through it with a fine-tooth comb and provides the immediate response,” he emphasizes. “In addition, the assistant answers operational questions, providing detailed, step-by-step instructions for complex procedures, reducing execution time and avoiding failures,” he adds.
Among its features, GI is able to answer questions about tax legislation and the system itself, support compliance with additional obligations, analyze financial statements such as the DRE and balance sheet, interpret accounting movements and suggest actions. It also processes tax data in seconds, summarizes collective agreements, offers a complete and updated tax schedule and, if necessary, requests human assistance.
“Although the tool uses preconfigured prompts, it also allows customization by drawing inspiration from the accountant’s routine and way of working, adapting to the style of each office,” reinforces the CEO.
For MakroSystem, the impact of IG on productivity and error reduction is direct. “One of the greatest difficulties for the accountant has always been the difficulty of verifying large quantities of information. With GI, this verification becomes automatic, intelligence audits the sheet, flags inconsistencies and only delivers to the accountant what needs to be corrected and adjusted,” he says.
The launch also reflects broader market trends. A Deloitte survey, published by CNN Brazil, shows that 74% of financial companies intend to adopt generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in their businesses, while 15% are already using it and only 11% are unlikely to integrate it.
For Silva, this scenario confirms that accounting is experiencing a new phase. “AI is no longer just a tool and is becoming an essential part of the functioning of the office. This is why we decided to integrate it directly into the system, so that it is present in the natural workflow of the accountant and not as a parallel resource,” he emphasizes.
Vinicius Seabra, marketing manager at MakroSystem, emphasizes that IG was not only designed as a technical resource, but as a tool that could evolve with the user. “With the new Smart Manager, for the first time, the accountant will be able to transform the system into something adapted to their way of working, thanks to the adaptive nature of GI, creating rules, prompts and flows that reflect the reality of each office, learning from the routine and the accountant’s way of working. The objective is not only to automate, but to allow each professional to have a solution that follows its evolution”, he emphasizes.
According to the manager, the Makro system will continue to bring new features, modules and integrations, which will be continually published, to make the task of accountants easier. “This is only the beginning of a project that will gain even more depth over time, consolidating technology as an essential element of the accounting routine,” he concludes.
