The President of the Senate, Davi Alcolombre (União-AP), complained about the actions of Representative Paulinho da Forsa (Solidariedade-SP), the author of the action that led to Minister Gilmar Méndez issuing an injunction limiting requests for the impeachment of members of the Supreme Federal Court (STF). Alcolombre was informed of the decision while he was at the official headquarters of the Senate during a meeting with Paulinho, president of Solidaridad and rapporteur of the dosimetry project. The meeting discussed issues related to the Amapa party that he governs. “Political game”: a contract worth R$ 6 million and a dispute between the PL and the Republicans over the Tarcísio de Freitas after the clash with the STF: Alcolumbre will look for Motta to open the PEC that limits individual decisions. Minutes after the deputy arrived, the decision was announced. According to the interlocutors, Alcombre expressed his annoyance with the content of the decision and the fact that the legal document was prepared by Paulinho, with whom he has a close relationship. Hours later, in the plenary session, Alcolombre, who is responsible for analyzing requests to dismiss members of the Special Combat Force, considered the case a “serious crime of separation of powers.” This is not the first time Paulinho has suffered from distress in recent months. The parliamentarian is the rapporteur of the dosimetry project, which could reduce the sentences of those involved in the coup acts and benefit former President Jair Bolsonaro. Since September, Paulinho has been seeking support to finalize a consensus text. He even encountered resistance from the Colombrians to the original proposal. The MP has already met with PL, PT, Uniao, PP, Republicans, MDB, PSD, PSDB, Podemos, Solidaredade, Avante, PRD and Novo, but the project has barely progressed.
