This rule establishes that after a minimum period of six months since the appointment of these editorial management positions, you can express in writing to the Board of Directors “the disagreement concerning the development of the functions carried out by the aforementioned positions of the information service, as well as the writing, editing, coordination of domain and delegations, justifying and arguing the reasons for the disagreement”.
The Consell d’Informatius de À Punt reiterates in its report the complaints regarding “cases of manipulation and lack of objectivity” in the information spaces of Valencian public radio and television, as well as those that it assures continue to receive “due to the treatment” of the management of the department.
The result of the consultation, adds the Consell d’Informatius, as well as “the deterioration of the public image of À Punt and the working environment within the company” are, according to him, “elements that require a reaction from those responsible” of the CACVSA.
Finally, the Consell d’Informatius thanks the workers who “demonstrated that the editorial staff does not resign itself to a degrading situation and does not allow errors like those that one day led to the disappearance” of public radio and television.
One of the latest clashes within Valencian public television was the criticism aroused by À Punt for having broadcast a bullfight while the twelfth demonstration was taking place to demand the resignation of the president at the time. president of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, for his management of the damage which left 230 dead.
In a press release later published on social networks with the hashtag #LaPlantilladÀPNoCalla, network employees expressed their “immense shame” for this management decision and regretted that, in this way, “they have once again subjected Valencian public radio and television to an avalanche of criticism and an unacceptable degree of discredit.”
