
Data from a new part of the Genial/Quaest survey, carried out between the 11th and 14th of this month, indicate that the positive evaluation of the Federal Court (STF) increased by ten percentage points compared to July of this year. At the time, this rate was 23% and today it stands at 33%. The improvement comes amid the trial of those responsible for the coup plot.

Despite the growth in approvals, negative reviews also increased, from 32% to 36%. The largest movement was observed in the group believing that the performance of the STF is regular, going from 34% to 24%. The percentage of those who did not know or did not want to answer fell from 11% to 7%.

The survey interviewed 2,004 Brazilians aged 16 or older. The survey’s margin of error is plus or minus two percentage points. The survey also assessed perceptions of the House and Senate. See the results below.

Concerning political identification, 32% of participants declared themselves independent. The non-Bolsonaro right-wing group represents 21%, followed by the Lulistas (19%). Those who identify as non-Lulista leftists represent 14%, while Bolsonaristas represent 12%. Another 2% did not know or did not respond.
