According to Prada, the initial hypothesis is that the young woman tried to pass between two vehicles, lost control and ended up colliding with a car before being hit by a truck. He explained to the Daily Mail that the case is under investigation by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, which must analyze the images, hear from witnesses and determine possible responsibilities.

The content creator’s death also drew attention due to the dangerous behavior she used to display on social media. On her personal page on Instagram, where she used the name @sofia_quiroz10, she posted video clips of herself riding her pink and black motorcycle while wearing only sports shirts, leaving aside the protective jacket and jacket suitable for riding motorcycles. He appeared in some recordings riding a motorcycle without his hands, a gesture that had previously caused repercussions among his followers.

Hours before the accident, the influencer posted that she lost the glasses she was wearing while riding, and expressed her concern, according to the NeedToKnow portal. “I hope I don’t get into an accident because I’m driving without my glasses,” he wrote in a tone that ended up sounding prescient after his death.

Karen Sofia was considered a rising star and maintained a strong digital presence, where riding videos alternated with photos of tourist sights and chronicles of her personal life. His death has reignited debate about traffic safety and the high rate of casualties among motorcyclists – nearly a quarter of all traffic deaths in the world, according to the World Health Organization.

The Colombian authorities are expected to release new information as investigations into the accident that claimed the life of the young influencer progress.
