Anna Ferrer is used to sharing a large part of her life with her digital community. Her relationship with Paz Padilla, her work, her commercial projects and even certain personal episodes are part of a story that the influencer has been naturally building for years. … There is, however, one area that he has always kept on the sidelines: the link with his father, Albert Ferrer.
The question is not new and reappears from time to time in the question sessions that open on Instagram. This time, Anna decided to respond, not to give details, but to explain why there are issues that she prefers not to air publicly. “I love having you in my life and I share a lot of things, but there’s also a lot I don’t tell,” he wrote. And he went further: “Because they are intimate, because they hurt, because it is not necessary or simply because I do not want to.”
Without going into specific names or situations, Paz Padilla’s daughter wanted to mark a clear boundary between what she shows and what she decides to keep. An exercise in honesty which also served to launch a broader message on social networks and the image they convey. “What you see here is only a part – and almost always the most beautiful – of our lives,” he recalled, warning against the danger of comparing ourselves to realities that are never complete.
In her reflection, Anna referenced how she experienced her parents’ separation and the emotional impact it had on her childhood. “I didn’t have a ‘common’ childhood,” she confessed, remembering how bad she felt comparing herself to friends who grew up with both their parents together or who lived nearby. “It hurt me,” he admitted.
Over time, this perception has changed. As he grew up, he understood that behind many seemingly perfect families, there were also conflicts and difficulties. “There, I realized that we can never compare ourselves to someone because we do not know their reality,” he explained, thus closing a reflection which speaks more of maturity than of reproach.
A vague father
Albert Ferrer has always stayed away from the media spotlight. An artistic representative in the 90s – among others of Chiquito de la Calzada – he had a relationship with Paz Padilla that ended in 2003 and, since then, he has opted for a completely discreet life, even when his daughter became one of the most followed influencers in the country.
The fact that it does not appear on the networks does not necessarily imply distancing. Anna herself made it clear a long time ago that absence in public does not equate to a bad relationship. In fact, on some occasions he shared specific images that demonstrated cordial coexistence, such as a photograph of his father with a bag of NoNiNá, the fashion brand he shares with his mother.
When in 2024 she was asked directly about him in front of the microphones, Anna was clear: she preferred to respect his decision to stay out of it. “He doesn’t like this world,” he explained then, insisting that not everyone wants to be part of the digital showcase.
