The 59,000 drivers who navigate through the app in the Federal District have until December 17 to install a QR Code sticker on their cars, which will allow passengers to access information to increase safety, transparency and confidence in the service provided.
To access the QR code, drivers must update their registration data through the Driver Portal of the Ministry of Transport and Mobility (Semob-DF), including submitting a photo.

After this procedure, the provider must access the services area of the website, in the “Issue STIP badge” menu, where the stamp can be printed. The sticker must be affixed to the windshield of the vehicle, in a location visible to both users and inspection agents.
According to the Minister of Transport and Mobility, Zeno Gonsalves, non-compliance will result in administrative penalties, which can range from fines to vehicle confiscation, in cases of unauthorized transport.

How does it work?
The QR code can be read by any subscribed smartphone and the passenger will be able to access basic information, such as: authorization; Driver’s name applied; And the car model.
It will also facilitate complete consultation by inspection agents, with data updated in real time, such as current license number, provider photo and link with the operating company.
According to Simop, the system has information security and encryption mechanisms, to prevent cloning or counterfeiting, and will fully respect the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), ensuring that sensitive data will only be accessed by the competent authorities.
