Endrick could say goodbye to Real Madrid this Wednesday (12/17). In full transfer to Lyon, from France, Xabi Alonso commented on the possibility of playing the Brazilian striker against Talavera, in a match valid for the Copa del Rey.
“I don’t like to give too many clues to the opponent. Endrick is on the corresponding list. We are not thinking about the period after the break. We have Talavera and Sevilla in front of us. We have all the players available and we want to start well tomorrow. Endrick, of course, has his chance,” he added.

Endrick already has a date set for his Lyon debut
Endrick will be loaned from Real Madrid to Lyon, France in January 2026 until the end of the season. According to Spanish newspaper El Chiringuito, the Brazilian already has a date set for his first training and debut with the French club.
With just 22 minutes of play for the Merengues in the 2025/26 season, Endrick will make his first training with Lyon on December 26 and is expected to make his debut on January 3, against Monaco, during the 17th day of the French Championship.
The Brazilian’s idea is to recover before the World Cup, from June 11 to July 19, in the United States, Mexico and Canada. The striker is yet to be called up to the national team since Carlo Ancelotti took over.
The loan took time to be finalized as Real Madrid wanted to ensure that none of the team’s attackers were injured.
