They first asked them for money and, when they refused, they began “insistently” to follow a mother and her 12-year-old daughter who were returning home around 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 8. But it didn’t stop there … fear, because seeing that they were not achieving their objective, one of the men went so far as to show his genitals while groping them, performing obscene acts of a sexual nature.
The mother and daughter managed to escape the harassment and called for help. The call demanding the presence of the agents entered at that time the premises of the National Police, who questioned the victims, who recounted what happened and gave details of the alleged perpetrators.
Using this data, officers began raiding the area in search of the identified individuals. And they were there when, about twenty minutes later, near Plaza de San Juan and Calle de la Verbena, two other women, “visibly nervous,” called the attention of the police.
According to their testimonies, they were also followed and verbally harassed by two men with phrases of a sexual nature.
Nearby, they found precisely two individuals “who fully matched the characteristics” provided by the first woman and her daughter, so they were intercepted by the agents, who proceeded to identify them.
They contacted the first victims, who “without a doubt recognized” the two men as the perpetrators of the events, “specifically designating one of them” as having committed acts of exhibitionism, as announced in a note from the Corps distributed by the Government Sub-delegation in Valladolid.
Thus, “given the seriousness of the facts and the existence of clear clues”, add the same sources, one of the men was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of an offense of exhibitionism with a sexual connotation against a minor.
After going through the police station to complete the necessary procedures, he was brought to court, who ordered his release.
