MADRID, December 23 (EUROPA PRESS) –
At least nine people were injured, three of them seriously, when a woman, already arrested, crushed a crowd on Monday in a town east of the Dutch capital, Amsterdam, in what police ruled out as a “deliberate” attack.
“Nine people were injured, at least three seriously. At first glance, this does not appear to be a deliberate attack, but we are continuing our investigation,” police said on their social network X account.
The incident occurred in Nunspeet, about 70 kilometers east of Amsterdam, around 6 p.m. this Monday, when a woman driving a vehicle hit a group of people gathered for a parade.
The driver, a 56-year-old woman from the town who was also slightly injured, is in police custody. In addition to the police, firefighters, health workers and emergency services were deployed.
