Ayesa Digital, through its R&D unit, i3B, participates in the ‘New Hegaz’ project integrate the most disruptive technologies into the zero-emission aeronautics industry, for the definitive takeoff of this sector.
Led by the Aeronautical Technology Center ( … CTA), This project explores the rapprochement between Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniquesclassical computing technologies and the potential of quantum technologies (computing and sensory) to meet the challenges of the aeronautical industry for zero-emission aircraft, in terms of the most efficient and zero-defect design and manufacturing, and strengthening the safety associated with new propulsion systems.
i3B’s role is to bring its experience and knowledge in AI and quantum to bring these emerging technologies to an applicable level in the aerospace industry. Thus, it develops Quantum algorithms to optimize manufacturing and assembly processesgenerate new aerostructures for aircraft, improve real-time anomaly detection and strengthen the eco-sustainable safety of new propulsion systems based on hydrogen and hybrid batteries.
However, it will be achieved More efficient generative design and manufacturing processes for lighter aerostructures and complex, new sensors will be developed for monitoring and communications, the security of on-board hydrogen and hybrid systems used as an energy source will be strengthened and new technologies such as quantum sensors, quantum machine learning and quantum optimization will be tested.
This action is co-financed by the Department of Industry, Energy Transition and Sustainable Development of the Basque Government. With its contribution, i3B promotes the maturity of disruptive technologies that will mark the future of zero-emission aviation and strengthens its position at the forefront of quantum computing in the Basque Country.
