Ayuso imitates Yolanda Diaz and accuses her of living in a “400 square meter mansion that we all pay for”

The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, stressed during the PP demonstration on Sunday that the “price” of Pedro Sánchez’s government is to have “colonial institutions” with partners that “charge from the public treasury.” He imitated Vice President Yolanda Díaz and the ERC’s parliamentary spokesman, Gabriel Ruffian: “Ruffian: ‘Oh, oh.’ Yolanda Díaz of the big 400-square-metre house that we all pay for, which, according to Abalos, has to explain: ‘Oh, oh, I’m going to be angry at the weekend.’ Now, now.”

The Madrid leader refers to some of the words of Ábalos who, in the midst of her campaign to increase pressure on the government in the face of her imprisonment, practically accused the Minister of Labor of hosting other people in her ministerial residence without permission during the months of the pandemic. “Since we are so wonderful, perhaps you should clarify to us whether the housing reserved for ministers and their families can be used by other people without the right to do so,” Abalos wrote in a message on X in which he complained that the vice president had called him “the Gulf.” The Vice President responded a day later that during that period she lived in the ministry with her then-partner and daughter.

It happens that the President of the Community of Madrid lives in about 400 square metres. Ayuso lives in two apartments separated by a floor paid for by his partner, a businessman and commission agent who has been tried for two crimes of tax fraud, in competition with one of document forgery, and who is being investigated for business corruption and unfair management in a second piece of the same court case. Until now, the couple had been living on the sixth floor, which was acquired by the defendant in 2022, which also paid a rent of €5,000 per month with the right to purchase to also enjoy an attic located on the seventh floor.

Once the penthouse purchase is completed, the couple will settle in two homes with a total area of 387 square meters and worth more than two million euros, although the current market price would increase this figure by at least another million.
