
Military Highway Police arrested a truck driver carrying more than two tons of marijuana on the Raposo-Tavares Highway, in Presidente Prudente, inside São Paulo.
The vehicle was approached on Friday night (28/11) at kilometer 561, during a joint police operation between the 2nd Highway Police Battalion and the Integrated Anti-Organized Crime Force (Ficco-SP) of the Ministry of Justice.

According to the Prime Minister, the medicine was stored in 72 bales hidden inside a quantity of plastic scrap.
The incident was referred to the Federal Police Station Presidente Prudente. It was found that the suspect has a criminal record and is still in prison. The truck was seized.
