State Deputy Rodrigo Bacellar (União Brasil) left the superintendence of the Federal Police of Rio de Janeiro, Tuesday evening (9/12). This departure came a few hours after Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), ordered the provisional release of the parliamentarian, subject to compliance with precautionary measures.
Bacellar was preventively arrested on December 3 by the Federal Police (PF), following a decision by Moraes. He is suspected of having disclosed confidential information for the benefit of former state deputy Thiego Raimundo dos Santos Silva, known as TH Joias, who was also recently arrested.
Still inside the PF headquarters this Tuesday, in the presence of a team from the Secretariat of Prison Administration (Seap), the deputy put the electronic bracelet on his ankle – one of the precautionary measures imposed by Moraes – and carried out an examination of the body of the crime.
Precautionary measures imposed by Moraes in Bacellar
- Dismissal from the post of president of Alerj.
- Home collection overnight, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday to Friday, and full collection on weekends, public holidays and public holidays.
- Prohibition on communicating with other persons under investigation.
- Delivery of all passports.
- Immediate suspension of any firearms document in the name of Bacellar, as well as any registration certificate to carry out firearms collection, sports shooting and hunting activities.

Minister Alexandre de Moraes also warned that failure to comply with any of the decisions could result in a daily fine of R$50,000 and immediate revocation of the release.
“Failure to comply with any of the alternative measures will result in immediate dismissal and imprisonment,” Moraes determined.
