In addition to being promoted to the Red Bull Bragantino women’s professional team, 20-year-old goalkeeper Manu Souza also had her contract with the club. With this, the young archer will already be available for the technical committee of the Bragantinas main team starting next year.
Manu started his career at Massa Bruta in 2024, playing for the under-20s. She took part in the historic campaign which allowed the Braga girls to reach their first podium by placing 3rd in the Brasil Ladies Cup U20.
This year, Manu had the opportunity to make his debut with the professional team. She came in the 10th round of the Campeonato Paulista Feminino, when she replaced goalkeeper Alice Tosta during the match. On this occasion, Bragantino beat Realidade Jovem 2-0, at the Gabriel Marques da Silva stadium, in Santana de Parnaíba.
“Red Bull Bragantino was the place where I found myself and where I felt at home. It is a joy to be part of the group for another year, and I hope that it will be a period of many achievements. That we can put Red Bull Bragantino at the top, because that is where it deserves to always be”, projected Manu Souza after formalizing his professionalization and the extension of his contract.
