Bayern marches on the pitch
The match started with Bayern imposing their pace and it didn’t take long to open the scoring. In the 15th minute, Olise took a corner, Tah headed the ball and, after the ball bounced off Ramaj, Stanisic appeared free in the small area to head home and put the visitors in front. Shortly after, in the 31st minute, Olise went wide. Karl took a risk from outside the box, Ramaj spread it, Ito ended up with the ball and crossed into the box. The ball deflected off Mainka and allowed Olise to push into the back of the net, consolidating Bavaria’s first-half dominance.
In the final stage, Heidenheim tried to react and almost reduced the score. Stefan Schimmer hit the crossbar with a dangerous header and Arijon Ibrahimovic missed a good chance in the box. Bayern, in turn, kept control and also created chances, such as Ito’s shot that came close to the goal. In the 33rd minute, Schimmer fired a low shot and forced Urbig to make a good save, but it was Bayern who scored again. In the 40′, Luis Díaz took advantage of Stanisic’s cross and, with a header, scored the third goal. In stoppage time, Harry Kane left his mark again: he received a pass inside the box and struck the corner with precision, completing the 4-0 victory.
