Before stabbing his ex to death, the killer sent him audio messages containing death threats

The man who stabbed to death his ex-partner Simone Pereira de Oliveira, aged 44, last Saturday (20/12) in Osasco, in the São Paulo metropolitan area, had been making threats to the victim since the couple separated. THE Metropolises had access to two audios sent by Vagner dos Santos, 40, to her ex. In the recordings, he promises to attack her and talks about sending Simone “to hell.”

“Oh, you idiot, I just got home. I thought you were ‘there’. I was going to hit you so much, hit you so much, that I was going to feel sorry for you, okay?” Vagner says in one of the audios. Afterwards, he says that the day he found Simone in the house where they both lived, the hairdresser would be “done”.

In another message, Vagner reiterates the threats and raises his voice.

“I want you to come here when I’m home. You’re going to take so much shit in the face. Girls have to take it in the face, right? You understand. You fucked yourself with your mouth open. A guy like me would never (unintelligible) take that in the ass. I just don’t want anyone to piss me off. If you piss me off, I’ll send you to hell.”

Friends claim the hairdresser had previously been assaulted by Vagner on other occasions, but never filed a police report.

A little over a month ago, Vagner kicked Simone out of the house where they lived. Afterwards, he tried to resume the relationship. But the hairdresser didn’t want it. The man went on to say that he was betrayed by her. Last Saturday (20), he killed her in the street.

In a statement, the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP) indicates that the 10th Police District of Osasco has opened a police investigation and “remains determined to hold the perpetrator accountable.”

The ministry says other details will be preserved to ensure investigations proceed smoothly.

Remember the case

Vagner dos Santos stabbed to death his ex-partner, Simone Pereira de Oliveira, aged 44, in the middle of Maria do Céu Henrique Barbosa Street, in the Jardim Munhoz Júnior neighborhood, in Osasco.
According to friends, the two had been separated for just over a month, after spending 11 years together, on and off.
Vagner, who had previously attacked Simone on other occasions, had kicked her ex out of the house. Despite this, he began demanding that they get back together and could not accept the end of the relationship.
Simone, however, refused to resume the relationship. On Saturday, the two allegedly argued and Vagner began stabbing her. Neighbors witnessed the attack. One of them tried to separate the attacker from the victim, but was unable to do so.
After stabbing Simone, the man allegedly killed a neighbor’s dog before fleeing. He also sent audio to a friend of the couple saying his ex “got fucked.”
Simone was rescued by witnesses in the emergency room, but did not survive. She was buried in the Santo Antônio cemetery, in Osasco.
Until the publication of this text, Vagner had not been found by the Police.
