Bela Gil was present at 82-year-old Gilberto Gil’s final show of 2025 on the Tempo Rei tour, held this Saturday (12/20) in Salvador, Bahia. The presenter celebrated this moment and said she was happy for the artist.
“Happy for my father, for my family, who are splendid and do this wonderful work. I am here to support them, encourage them and happy to participate in a historic moment,” said the famous woman in an interview with the magazine Quem.

Grief
The artist took the opportunity to talk about the grief experienced after the departure of Preta Gil and said that his father served as the basis for the family to overcome this difficult period. “I think my father teaches us to respect cycles and the end of cycles,” he says.
“Every person experiences homesickness in a different way, feels it in a different way, but her emotional intelligence calms and comforts us. It’s a lot of emotion. I don’t believe in coincidences, so I feel like she’s there somehow, and that’s very special,” Bela Gil added.
