Disaffections, Beto Richa (PSDB-PR) and Deltan Dallagnol (Novo-PR) had a lively discussion a few hours ago at Curitiba airport, in the boarding line for Brasilia.
According to reports, the exchange of barbs began after the MP called the former Lava-Jato prosecutor a “scoundrel”.
Deltan quickly retorted, “And you are a criminal, you should be in prison.” »
Richa questioned the alleged illegalities committed by the former prosecutor at the head of Lava Jato. Deltan also suggested discussing point by point the process that resulted in Richa’s arrest during Lava Jato “to see who you are.”
Although they were stormy, the discussions were unsuccessful.
In the column, Richa said she questioned Deltan after the former prosecutor looked at him.
The two men had already met yesterday in a club in the capital of Paraná, but did not speak. This time Richa didn’t hold back.
The MP said he was persecuted by Deltan and that the former prosecutor’s dialogues during Lava Jato proved it.
The two men took the same flight to Brasilia. MPs Filipe Barros (PL-PR) and Reinhold Stephanes (PSD-PR) were also present.
Former governor of Paraná, Richa was arrested on suspicion of corruption, money laundering and criminal association in the concession of national roads. He was one of the MPF’s targets when Deltan was still working in the operation’s task force. The complaints against the MP were filed by Dias Toffoli.
Richa also sued Deltan for statements that the MP said offended his honor. The court, however, rejected the request for compensation.
Also sought after, Deltan made no comment.
