This amount generated 3.3 billion reais in federal revenue. The unpublished data comes from the Ministry of Finance in response to a Freedom of Information Act request made by Pay4Fun.
In terms of legal allocation, the largest beneficiary of paid tax transfers was sport, with R$1.2 billion, followed by tourism (R$953 million) and public security (R$461 million).
Social security (R$347 million), education (R$342 million) and health (R$34 million) come just after. There were also transfers to civil society (BRL 16 million), the PF Fund (BRL 18 million), and the Brazilian Industrial Development Agency (BRL 13 million).
