Architect Bianca Censori, wife of rapper Kanye West, presented her project in Seoul, South Korea. first artistic manifestomarked with a a look reminiscent of Britney Spears in the music video for Oops!… I Did It Again and through a storyline that explores the female body, sexuality and domestic roles. However, the reference to the pop singer was not the only one made by the public: once again, Censori’s appearance has also been compared to that of Kanye’s ex-wifeKim Kardashian.

Titled Bio Pop, the project takes place inside a house and begins with the image of Censori in the kitchen, baking a cake. Little by little, the space reveals itself completely, exposing a dining room made up of plastic dolls – representing versions of herself – arranged in suggestive positions.

The environment is described as a proposition that “transforms comfort into confinement and domesticity into architecture”, blurring the boundaries between object, body and space. The furniture resembles padded medical crutches, suggesting extensions of the body used in the event of a “breakdown.”

Using the house, the female body and everyday objects as artistic language, Bianca Censori exposes how roles learned in private space shape public behavior. The architect said, in an interview, that the power dynamics we learn at home are the agents that move us in the outside world.

The public, aware of the recurring comparisons between Bianca and Kim Kardashian – Kanye West’s ex-wife -, quickly highlighted the similarities between the aesthetic of the manifesto and the image already associated with the businesswoman. The long, straight black hair, paired with the red latex catsuit, evoked Kim’s signature look, reinforcing the sense of familiarity between the two characters.
