The insurance company BNP Paribas Cardif expanded its list of partnerships in the country with an agreement with Stellantis Financial Services Brazil. Thus, the 1,200 Stellantis points of sale will now offer borrower life insurance. The goal is to reach about 250,000 people over the next 30 months, according to the two companies.
With the alliance, customers of Decree, Jeep, Peugeot, Citroën And Ram I could hire this type of insurance that repays part or all of the debt in the event of unemployment or death. The insurance value starts at R$1,199 and is diluted over the financing period. The contract may also include the option of funeral assistance or monthly capital bond withdrawals.
“From the beginning, there was a great affinity between the value proposition of Stellantis Financial Services Brazil and BNP Paribas Cardif Brasil in offering a partnership that was not only interesting from a commercial point of view, but also added real value and enhanced the end customer’s experience when purchasing their dream vehicle,” says Emmanuel Pelège, CEO of BNP Paribas Cardif Brasil.
The mobility sector represents around 30% of the turnover of BNP Paribas Cardif’s Brazilian activity and should continue to grow at double digits in the years to come, driven in part by the new alliance, estimates the manager.
“Mobility is a market in which we have been operating for a long time and which is gaining more and more importance within the company, which allows us to reach an even greater number of Brazilians and reinforce our objective of making insurance more accessible in the country. It is also a segment in full transformation, both to follow an increasingly intense evolution of the market itself and to meet the growing demands of consumers,” says Pelège.
For Jean Avril, CEO of Stellantis Financiamentos, the partnership reinforces the strategy of offering complete and integrated solutions to customers, combining convenience, security and innovation. “With credit life insurance, we are expanding access to financial protection, adding value and further strengthening the purchasing journey and long-term relationships with our customers,” he said in a note.
