The body of a 46-year-old man, still unidentified, was found in Córrego Areal, near AC 300 in Santa Maria (DF), Saturday afternoon (13/12).
The case is under investigation to determine the circumstances of the death. Initially, the Civil Police of the Federal District (PCDF) recorded the cause of death as alleged drowning.

The Federal District Military Fire Brigade (CBMDF) was called around 12 p.m. to rescue the scene. But as soon as the team arrived there, they found the body “with obvious signs of death.”
Investigations are now continuing with the 33rd Police Station (Santa Maria) which is awaiting the results of the expertise from the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML).
Arriving at the lake, they identified the lifeless body.
