After going three consecutive rounds without a win, Cremonese once again triumphed in the Italian League. Thanks to two goals from veteran Jamie Vardy, the Lombards beat Bologna 3-1 away and ended their opponent’s long unbeaten run.

The visitors did not completely control the match that was held at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium in Bologna, but they were more surgical in front of the opponent’s goal, especially with the former Leicester City top scorer.

Martin Bayro and Vardy scored the first two goals in the first minutes of the match, while Riccardo Orsolini reduced the score before the end of the first half with a penalty kick.

The Rossoblu, the current Italian Cup champions, were not up to date and showed no reaction to the changes. The Briton, who had nothing to do with the matter, scored the third goal for Gregorossi.

The result was bad for Bologna, as Vincenzo Italiano’s men stopped at 24 points and were unable to touch the first two places, which have a total of 28 points. Moreover, the sixth-placed Emilians lost again after more than 10 matches.

On the other hand, Cremonese celebrated the victory greatly, as it did not achieve victory in three consecutive matches. David Nicola’s club has reached 17 points and is in 11th place. .
