The former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) began his rehabilitation with physiotherapy and remains in postoperative care at the DF Star Hospital, in Brasilia, according to a medical bulletin published this Friday (26). He has been hospitalized since Wednesday and yesterday he had surgery to correct a bilateral inguinal hernia.
According to the bulletin released by the medical team, Bolsonaro receives medication to prevent thrombosis and undergoes medication adjustments for hiccups and reflux. There are no new examinations or additional procedures planned for this Friday.
Earlier, the former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro said on his Instagram profile that Bolsonaro was able to eat and had already undergone a physiotherapy session after the operation.
“My love has managed to eat and has already undergone physiotherapy, thank God. I continue to go long periods without using my cell phone, as it is not allowed to keep the device in bed. At night I will respond to everyone with affection,” he wrote.
