The pregnancy was announced at the end of June in a social media post after Rio’s exit from the FIFA Club World Cup.

“Thank you, God, for this blessing. We are waiting for you with so much love, mom, dad and your little brothers Alfie and Leon,” Arascaeta wrote, referring to his dogs. Since then, the new parents have made frequent appearances on social media to show off their pregnancy progress.

The baby’s name was announced at the beginning of November during Flamengo’s tribute to Arascaeta, which renewed him with the organization until 2028. After taking a photo with the club’s shirt that year, the player stood next to Camila wearing a suit bearing the name Milano and the number 10 that he wears in the team.
