Botafogo announces partial tickets for the farewell in Niltau

Glorioso announces that 17,000 fans have already secured a place for the match against Fortaleza, the farewell of Brazil 2025.

Botafogo fans have already bought 17 thousand tickets for Sunday’s match (7/12) against Fortaleza, the farewell of the Brazilian League. The announcement was made by Glorioso himself via social media on Friday (12/5), the day before the commitment against Ciara.

Tickets have been on sale since November 27, with members of the Glorioso and Alvinegro plans able to purchase tickets in advance. Then, on the 28th, Black and White plan users were able to make the purchase. Finally, sales to the general public began last Monday (12/1), with actual sales only starting on Friday.

Therefore, there are still tickets available for the duel scheduled for 4pm (Brasilia time) on Sunday. The match, after all, will mark Botafogo’s farewell to its fans in the 2025 season. With ten wins, five draws and three defeats, Foção is the seventh best local team in the Brazilian championship.

After an excellent 2024, the team did not repeat its good form in 2025, losing the Brazilian Super Cup in the final to Flamengo, the Recopa Sul Americana to Racing (ARG), and exiting the Carioca after a poor ninth place finish in the Guanabara Cup. In the Copa do Brasil, they fell to rivals Vasco in the quarter-finals, while seeing LDU (EQU) advance to the round of 16 of the Libertadores. In the Club World Cup, Botafogo succeeded in qualifying for the group of death after defeating European champion Paris Saint-Germain (1-0), but fell in the round of 16 to Palmeiras with the same result. Thus, the year 2025 ends without titles.

But against Fortaleza, they will be playing for a direct place in the group stage of the Libertadores. Currently, David Ancelotti’s team appears in seventh place with 60 points, and needs a win and hope for a draw between Fluminense and Bahia to remain in fifth place.
