How far does human cruelty go? The question opens a video that has gone viral and moved millions of people on social networks by showing the rescue of a frog with its two front legs amputated and its mouth glued shut.

The author of the recording is Marcelo Mondadori, veterinary student, specialist in wild and exotic animals, trainer and digital influencer, who defines himself as a “veterinarian still under construction”. Known for sharing his routine alongside animals, he posted the video on December 3, after discovering the amphibian in serious condition, unable to feed or defend itself, the victim of mistreatment.

The recording, which has already been viewed more than 29 million times, begins with the question: “What makes a person do this?” Next, Marcelo demonstrates the emergency procedure, using cotton and mineral oil to remove the mouth of the animal, which was breathing with difficulty and showing obvious signs of agony.
The student believes that the attack was intentional, that the attack appears to have been intentional: “The frog was found with its mouth glued shut and both limbs amputated. I believe whoever did this wanted him not to use his hands to open his mouth,” he wrote in the message.
