At 7 and 50 there were moments of tension during the celebrations of the Estudiantes fans when their paths crossed with the Tripera party. There was running, shirt theft and shouting in the area.
As Diario EL DIA learned, the problems were concentrated on the corner of 6th and 50. At some point, “a Lobo gang came by there and stole their shirts.”
“There are runs everywhere,” they added. In the pictures you can see personnel and battles of the patrol squad.
Far from ending the tension, the Albirroja party soon took the Albiazules jackets and set them on fire in the middle of the street.
A similar incident occurred at the intersection of 31 and 508, where a group of men’s Sana fans “tried to steal an Estudiantes flag that they were waving from a car.” There were punches and stone-pelting at the crossing between the parties.
