The actress did not specify the cause of her father’s death.
Cacau Protásio used social networks this Sunday 14 to communicate the death of his father and pay tribute to him. The actress shared a video with some recordings of the last years of her father’s life and also recalled what he was like in life.
“Go ahead, Monteiro. Rest in peace. Your time has come. God and my grandmother are waiting for you,” the artist wrote.
She also confided that she had a complicated relationship with her father, but that she prefers to focus on the qualities he had at that time. “Are you the father I asked God for? No, but you were my father. In happy times he was the best, funny and debauched. There is no point in talking about the faults now, let’s leave them in our memories. Rua do Matoso who knows your life. Monteiro da Matoso, the best bailiff.”
The artist also thanked his sister, Paula Protásio, who takes more care of his parents. “You are the best daughter, the best sister in the world. I wish I was here with you right now. I am far away, but my heart is with you, my sister.”
In the comments, fans showed their support for Cacau and people who knew Monteiro mourned his death. “Wow, Mr. Monteiro played so much animal games with me in Rua do Matoso. We had a few beers at Lúcia’s bar. Go with God, I loved listening to your stories,” lamented one user. “Go in peace, uncle. We will always remember your antics. May God welcome you with open arms,” wrote another.
