The American team announced that Cadillac, which will join the Formula 1 grid in 2026, will present its first car at the beginning of February, during the upcoming Super Bowl, the final of the American Football Championship.
Through the merger, Cadillac will become the 11th Formula 1 team next season, and the second American team alongside Haas.
The two drivers responsible for the brilliance of the General Motors brand are Mexican Sergio Perez and Finnish Valtteri Bottas, two personalities with great experience.
“The Super Bowl is one of the rare moments in American culture where sports, entertainment and storytelling come together, and this gives us the opportunity to present the Cadillac team on a stage that reflects our identity,” explained team manager Dan Torres. “We are proud of our American heritage and want to show ourselves in a bold and innovative way.”
The Super Bowl is one of the most anticipated sporting and business events of the year, and it is essential in the United States. Many brands pay tens of millions of dollars to advertise for just a few seconds on screen.
The 60th Super Bowl will be held on February 8, 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, the home stadium of the San Francisco 49ers.
