Caixa announces price of one billion reais for Mega da Virada

Caixa confirmed this Saturday 20 that the Mega da Virada prize is estimated at 1 billion reais. The value was published on the government lotteries website.

The value was set after no winner matched the six scores this Saturday, which paid a prize of 62 million reais. Thus, R$249 million has been accumulated for the next competition.

This accumulated value is added to the Mega da Virada prize, which already amounted to R$850 million. It should be remembered that the price may increase further depending on the collection.

This year the Sena Prize will be more important at the Mega da Virada. Whoever passes the six figures will keep 90% of the amount collected, previously it was 62%.

The time of the 2025 draw will also be different, as has been the case for regular draws. The big winner will be announced at 9 p.m. and no longer at 8:30 p.m.

The Mega da Virada prize has no chance of continuing to accumulate. Even if no one reaches six tens, the prize will be awarded to whoever nails the corner.
