The long-awaited return of one of Disney Channel’s most iconic musical franchises is now a reality. Disney has released the first official preview of “Camp Rock 3”the third part of the saga starring the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato, which will appear in June 2026. The first pictures show Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas back in the mythical camp, but this time in a completely different role: They are no longer participants, but instructor the new generation of young musicians.

In the trailer, the characters take up some of the most famous references from the previous films. “Music, friendship, memoriessays Nate, played by Nick Jonas, while Shane (Joe Jonas) adds, “We’re back, right where we’re supposed to be.” Jason (Kevin Jonas) rounds off the moment with a direct allusion to the first part: “There’s no birdhouse yet.”

The franchise returns at a crucial time for the Jonas Brothers, who in recent years have chosen to recapture some of the spirit that brought them to global fame. After projects like “A very Jonas Brothers Christmas”the group decided to take on the story that shaped an entire generation of viewers. The first film, released in 2008, was the second most-watched Disney Channel production High School Musical 2while Camp Rock 2 chaired the 2010 hearings.

The plot of the third part revolves around Connect 3, the fictional group that the Jonas represent in the story. During a reunion tour, the band loses their opening act and decides to return to camp to find him next big star. As confirmed by Agencia Noticias Argentinas, Demi Lovato will not reprise her role as Mitchie in this third film, but she will appear as Mitchie Executive producermarking his return from a creative role to the Camp Rock universe. Although Disney has not officially confirmed a cameo, the presence of elements in the trailer related to his character has fueled speculation among fans.

It will once again be part of the classic line-up Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas in their original works, in addition to Maria Canals Barrerawho will once again play Connie Torres, Mitchie’s mother. Their participation reinforces the connection between the new story and the legacy of the previous films.
