The Gas stations have integrated new services in recent years. Gastronomy, relaxation rooms and improvements in common areas became part of the offer, although there was no concrete measurement of their impact on consumption.
Gas stations that introduced dining options saw an increase in fuel sales, according to a report by economist Santiago Cerutti.

The survey found that the channels that used Parada Sanguchera – Axion’s sandwich sales format – recorded a 10% increase in fuel sales. This result remained stable over the following two years.
The first Parada Sanguchera stands arrived at gas stations in 2022, based on a proposal developed by Spot!, Axion’s retail brand, together with chef Lele Cristóbal. The aim of the initiative was to add a range of sandwiches and quick preparation products to complement the industry’s traditional services.
Differences also occurred within the pump. In the premium segment, the study based on data from the Ministry of Energy and Axion Energy showed an increase of almost 20%.
