Carolina Píparo was appointed director of Banco Nación

The national government has made this official Appointment of Carolina Píparo like new Director of the Bank of the Argentine NationHe replaces Rodolfo Carvajal, whose resignation was accepted on December 10.

According to Decree 907/2025 published in the Official Gazette, Píparo took office on December 11th and his mandate is extended until January 1, 2028, to complete the legal period specified in the company’s governing body charter.

The decision was signed on December 22 by President Javier Milei and Economy Minister Luis Caputo, along with other changes in the bank’s leadership, Noticias Argentinas confirmed.

Darío Wasserman, head of Banco Nación

In the same law, by Decree 903/2025, formalized the resignation of Daniel Tillard as president of Banco Nación and that of Vice President Darío Wasserman, who was appointed as the new head of the state financial institution.

Wasserman had been vice president of the company since the beginning of Javier Milei’s administration.
