Anthony Stallard and his friends decided to go to the cemetery to play ball and after a few drinks he thought it would be fun to shout “wooooo” and wave his arms in the air. The affair occurred in 2014, but it circulated again and sparked various reactions on social networks.
While some criticized the man’s stance, others laughed and saw the affair as inspiration to play their own pranks.
Local authorities then told the Guardian that Stallard’s behavior had been reported by witnesses who were frightened and then uncomfortable with the attitude of the group of young people.
In court, Anthony Stallard pleaded guilty and paid a fine of 35 pounds, or approximately R$250 at current rates, in addition to an amount of 20 pounds for one of the victims.
The man also received three months of probation, added to a previous conviction for harassment.
