Exports from Castile-La Mancha reached the figure of 9,359.3 million euroswhich means a increase of 6.0% compared to October 2024while in Spain they increased by 0, … 8% compared to the same period of last year, amounting to 324,772.7 million euros, according to the latest report prepared by the Territorial Directorate of Commerce-ICEX in Castile-La Mancha.
By province, Toledo takes first place with 2,843.9 million euros (+12.4%). Guadalajara occupies second place with 2,505.2 million (+11.7%). Ciudad Real is the third exporting province, with 2,015.2 million (-2.4%), followed by the provinces of Albacete with 1,323.6 million (+0.8%), and Cuenca with 671.3 million euros, which recorded a drop in exports of 1.4%.
As for the export sectorsfrom January to October 2025, Agri-food products occupy first place with 3,253 million euros, representing 34.8% of the total exported by Castilla-La Mancha and recording an increase of 5.7% compared to the same previous period. Exports of oils and fats fell by 9.6% (293.1 million euros).
Concerning the destination countries, The European Union accounted for the majority of the region’s exports with 75.7% of the total, led by Portugal with 2,212.3 million euros (+9.2%), followed by France with 1,414.1 million (-2.9%) and Germany with 945.1 million euros (-0.8%). outside of him, UK stands at 324.8 million (-6.5%), the United States with 263.3 million (-8.4%) or China with 257.8 million euros (+124.1%), among others.

By importing provinces, Guadalajara is in first placewith an increase of 4.3%, followed by Toledo (+12.3%), Albacete (+3.9%), Ciudad Real (-4.2%) and Cuenca (-24.1%).
Within the importing sectors, Capital goods stand out with 4,197.7 million euros (-4.4%), followed by Chemical Products with 2,894.9 million (+16.0%), and Food, beverages and tobacco with a value of 2,533.2 million euros (+8.3%).
Concerning the countries of origin, 70.7% are of community origin (Germany and France, mainly). Outside the EU, it is worth highlighting the 11.2% of our main supplier outside the EU, which is China, with 1,644.4 million, up 36.2% compared to the period January – October 2024.
He trade balance of the region until October 2025 amounts to -5,355.6 million euros, while the coverage rate (Xs/Ms) amounts to 63.6%, even significantly lower than the national average (87.6%).
