Thinking about 2026, Ceará agreed to hire the coach of Mozart, 2025 Serie B champion with Coritiba.
Mozart takes over Ceará after the departure of Léo Condé, which occurred last Tuesday (10). The coach’s contract with Vozão runs until the end of the 2026 season.
The coach has spent time at CSA, Chapecoense, Cruzeiro, Atlético Goianiense and Mirassol.
Mozart thanked the trust placed in his work and the results he has presented in recent years. The coach also mentioned what his main goal is internally.
“I want to sincerely thank the Vozão supporters and the management for their confidence in a project to save Ceará. I arrive with total energy, conviction and certainty that we have the conditions to do something great. Our mission is to build a winning environment, to offer dedication, performances, results and to lead the supporters to be our differentiator. Here begins a journey of courage, focus and hard work in search of a return,” he said.
In addition to the new black and white coach, technical assistants Dénis Iwamura and Edu Brasil will arrive in Porangabuçu.
