
The government of Chaco decided to grant this Administrative leave the days December 26, 2025 And January 2, 2026 for the employees of the Provincial Public Administrationas part of the Christmas and New Year celebrations. The measure was ordered by a decree signed by the governor Leandro Zderowith the aim of facilitating family reunifications and transfers at the end of the year.
In the fundamentals of the instrument, the executive highlighted the following social, cultural and religious value that the festivals are important to the Chaco community and considered it appropriate to adapt the functioning of the state to this context without compromising the provision of essential services.
Special opening hours on December 24th and 31st
In addition to the holiday, the decree establishes the following: reduced working hours for the days December 24th and 31stin which the provincial authorities have to function from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The aim of the provision is to ensure compliance with essential procedures while taking into account the dynamics of the days leading up to the celebrations.

The text empowers the highest authorities of each jurisdiction to prescribe the necessary complementary measures to ensure compliance with the established scheme and the continuity of critical services.
Scope of the measure and invitation to participate
The holiday applies exclusively to Provincial Public Administration. However, the executive branch officially invited to the other state powers, constitutional organizations, banking institutions and communities to adhere to the measure according to their own competences.
The decree was issued in exercise of the powers delegated to it Article 141 of the Chaco Constitutionwill be published in summarized form in Official Gazette and then archived in accordance with current administrative procedures.
At the same time, a national holiday was introduced December 24th and 31st in the National Public Administration, which designs an annual report with special programs at both provincial and federal levels, with an emphasis on family organization and outings typical of the holidays.
