PSG opened the scoring in the 37th minute of the first half, through Kvaratskhelia. Flamengo equalized in the 17th minute of the final phase, after Jorginho’s penalty. The score remained tied until the final whistle of extra time and was decided on penalties.
Flamengo started the charges with De La Cruz, who converted. Vitinha also played for PSG. Then Safonov saved Saúl’s penalty and Dembelé isolated. The Russian goalkeeper prevented Pedro’s goal, while Nuno Mendes managed to score for the French club.
Then, Safonov was in the middle of the goal and stopped Léo Pereira’s shot. Then Barcola saw the charge saved by Rossi. Finally, the Russian goalkeeper saved Luzi Araújo’s penalty.
