The parade was carried out by soldiers from the Army, Navy and Air Force, as well as members of the Civil Guard. The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces (JEMAD), the three JEMEs, the Director General and the Deputy Operational Director (DAO) of the National Police were present.
The national flag was carried by representatives of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Civil Guard and National Police.
The Union of Military Troops (UMT) wanted to speak out on this Constitution Day to denounce that “for the thousands of men and women who make up the Troops and Sailors Scale, this celebration becomes, year after year, an exercise in painful hypocrisy; words which, unfortunately, are often left at the door of bases and barracks.”
