Authoritarians don’t like that
The practice of professional and critical journalism is a mainstay of democracy. That is why it bothers those who believe that they are the owners of the truth.
The report also highlighted the products where the increase was the smallest. These include sweet chocolate chip bread, which rose just 9%, and sugary sweets, which rose just over 7%.
At the time of the toast, drinks weren’t rising as much either: Champagne was up 1%.
The statistics are also about how Argentinians do their Christmas shopping. 44% do it a week in advance, while 27% go a little further and do it a month in advance.
