Christmas rice is one of those dishes that transforms the table without fuss. The simple base is given a special twist with dried fruit and nuts, bringing a contrast of flavors, texture and a look that pairs perfectly with Christmas dinner.
In addition to pairing with poultry, roasted meats and more intense dishes, this version can be prepared in advance and finished just before serving. The result is a loose, fragrant rice, balanced between the sweetness of fruit and the salty flavor of classic stir-fry.
