“Today is the first time that I’m going to sing my new songs as a trio. I’m really looking forward to it, it’s going to be the summer of my life,” she explains when interviewed by Earth.
More than just a summer opening in Natal, the city holds a special place in the singer’s heart. Born in São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro, and resident of Salvador, Bahia, for many years, Claudia Leitte recalled the honor she received from the capital of Rio Grande do Norte.
“Today I officially open my summer here in Carnatal. I am from Rio Grande do Norte, I have the title of citizen of Natal. Every time I come here I join the trio”, he continues.
Initially scheduled to leave at 8 p.m., Claudia Leitte’s trio began their journey around 9:30 p.m., approximately 1.5 hours late due to a technical problem. But even the setback did not take away the singer’s morale.
“I’m passionate about it here. I love people. My satisfaction, my work, my goal is to make someone happy, to bring a message into someone’s heart, no matter how many people. I’m blessed by a lot of people, that’s true, but I do it out of love,” she adds.
