Besides Luca, 2, the celebrity is also the mother of Enzo Celulari, 28, and Sophia Raia, 22. In an interview with columnist Heloisa Tolipan, Claudia Raia spoke about the difference in the way each of the heirs is raised and reinforced the fact that education is also a political act.
According to the actress, Luca’s arrival meant she needed to learn and update herself. “Having three children of such different ages requires a lot of creativity and a plural vision of the world,” underlines the artist. “I’m very curious by nature, I like new things, being in tune with the world – I think that keeps me up to date,” he emphasized.
According to her, motherhood is today considered more lightly than in the past. “Luca was born when I was 56, at a time when I was already menopausal, and it was like starting anew in this wonderful room that is motherhood. Even if I had already created Enzo and Sophia, many things have changed: the world has changed, I have changed. Today, I experience motherhood with more lightness, listening and presence.”

Lesson of the world
The actress, however, emphasized that educating children is also a political act: “Educating is a revolutionary act. I have always taught my children respect, empathy and equality. With Sophia, I understood more deeply what it means to be a woman in a sexist world and I wanted to show that freedom and strength are non-negotiable,” she commented.
“With the boys, the mission is to make them understand that feminism is also them. Here at home, we talk about everything, it has always been like that. Motherhood deconstructs me every day: making mistakes, doubting, feeling guilty, but also loving deeply. With Enzo and Sophia, even if they are grown up, I am still very close. We have freedom, dialogue and a lot of exchanges. I have raised very cool children for the world, I can guarantee that”, he concluded.
