In order to be entitled to receive the benefit, you will need to meet some requirements. The provision specifies that a server cannot have received a written warning in the past three years and not been suspended in the past five years.

It is also essential to maintain good attendance – one of the criteria is the requirement not to exceed three unexcused absences in a period of one year.

If the birthday falls on a holiday or weekend, the holiday must be used on the first following business day.

According to the project, when there is more than one employee able to benefit from the benefit in the same public job, “it will be the prerogative of the direct supervisor to set a rotation schedule, if necessary, in order to ensure the continuity of public service without compromising its operation.”

The text was considered in the plenary session of the Legislative Council, and is now sent to Governor Ibanes Rocha (MDB) for approval.
