Vitória should formalize in the coming days the renewal of coach Jair Ventura for the 2026 season. The coach’s stay was strengthened after leading Rubro-Negro to stay in the Série A of Brasileirão.
Club president Fábio Mota said only bureaucratic details separate the official announcement:
“We had already spoken with Jair, now we have to sort out the small details. There will be no problems and we will renew, yes. Jair will be our coach next season”assured the leader.
After the 1-0 victory against São Paulo, in Barradão, on the last day of the Brasileirão, Jair Ventura also spoke about the possibility of continuing to manage Leão:
“I’m happy to help you. The most important thing is that Vitória is in Serie A. The fans hugged me, they were so happy. Everything will work out. Let’s see the scenes from the next chapters.”
Jair Ventura led Vitória in 14 matches in this edition of the Brazilian Championship, achieving a success rate of 54.7% and being decisive in avoiding further relegation to Serie B.
