British comedian Russell Brand, already prosecuted for rape and sexual assault by British courts, was indicted on Tuesday. for additional rape and sexual assaultreports AFP, citing British police.
“They concern two new … women and are in addition to the charges already filed against (Russell) Brand in April 2025, which involved four women,” detailed the Metropolitan Police in a press release regarding the charges.

Russell brand rejected the accusationswhile saying he was “grateful for the opportunity” to defend himself. “I was a fool before I lived in the light of the Lord. “I was a drug addict, a sex addict and an idiot, but I was never a rapist,” he said in a video posted online, claiming to have “never been involved in a non-consensual relationship.”
