The constitution of new commercial companies in the province of Córdoba has seen a notable increase in the last five years, according to data published by the National Institute of Statistics (INE). In October 2025, the number of new businesses created reached … 124which represents an increase of 36 more companies than in October 2021, when 88 were registered (+40%).
However, this growth in business creation has not been accompanied by a proportional increase in social capital. This drop in initial investment reflects a trend towards smaller companies in terms of capital, even if the number of start-ups continues to increase.

Malaga and Seville, in the lead

Malaga leads the Andalusian entrepreneurial fabric with 777 new companies, an increase of almost 400 compared to 2021, consolidating itself as the economic engine of the community. Seville is in second place with 457 constitutions, also well above the levels of five years ago.
